Every day, AVSI's team in Haiti renews its commitment to each and every one of the people who have made their home in the tented camps of Place Fierte, Bas Fontaine, Parc Bobi and Soleil 26 in Cite Soleil. Through temporary shelter, attention to women and children, and an insistence on education and psycho-social support, AVSI's approach in this radical post-emergency context is consistent with its method: focused on the individual within a perspective of long-term solidarity. 
AVSI endorses the appeal and the initiatives of Fundacion Domus, an AVSI network local partner, and its accompaniment of the victims of the recent earthquake in Chile. Through this solidarity, we together affirm that "no one and nothing be forgotten."
